We, the members of the Libertarian Party, challenge the cult of the omnipotent state and defend the rights of the individual.
We hold that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose.
--From the Libertarian Party Statement of Principles.
We need to elect people to Congress that will use their vote to protect all of our freedoms. All too often, we are being asked to pick and choose the freedoms we feel are most important. All of our rights are important.
Right now, there is only one political party that will protect all of your rights. That is the Libertarian party.
We won't make you pick and choose your rights. We will defend ALL of them.
- We will protect your freedom of speech.
- We will protect your right to bear arms.
- We will protect your right to marry whomever you choose.
- We will protect your right to raise your children and educate them however you choose.
We will even protect those Rights not specifically listed in the constitution, because it is impossible to make a list of ALL of your Rights.

I pledge to work towards the following:
- Shut down TSA and end mass surveillance
If elected, I will sponsor and work tirelessly to pass legislation to reduce and consolidate our 18 spy agencies, abolish the TSA, repeal all laws that violate the Fourth Amendment right to privacy, and cut taxes by the amount saved.
- Restore the "Defense" part of the Department of Defense
If elected, I will sponsor and work tirelessly to pass legislation to close all foreign U.S. military bases and bring our troops home. I will oppose military intervention without an imminent danger to the United States and oppose all military intervvention without a formal declaration of war. I will push to limit defense spending to what is necessary to defend the United States, not what is necessary to line the pockets of weapons manufacturers.
- Nullify and void bureaucratic regulations
If elected, I will sponsor and work diligently to pass legislation to nullify and void all regulations, laws, and restrictions generated by federal government bureaucracies.
- End Crony Capitalism
If elected, I will sponsor and work tirelessly to pass legislation to end government bailouts, grants, loans, loan guarantees, and other handouts to private businesses; repeal laws that give an advantage to certain businesses; eliminate unnecessary government spending, which fuels crony capitalism
- Replace government meddling in money with marketplace discipline
If elected, I will sponsor and work diligently to pass legislation to end the Federal Reserve System (the Fed); prohibit more government debt; remove restrictions on alternative currencies e.g., Bitcoin, gold, or silver; and allow the free market to set interest rates.
- Never expand big government
If elected, I will never vote to expand government authority or to increase total government spending from today's high level. If new funding were to be needed for an essential function of government, I will vote to reduce government overspending elsewhere rather than raise taxes or add to the nation's debt.
- Localize education
If elected, I will sponsor and work tirelessly to pass legislation to quickly end all federal mandates on state and local schools, discontinue Common Core at the FEDERAL level, close the FEDERAL Department of Education, and cut taxes by the amount saved. States will be free to choose whatever curriculum they choose, including ones that implement the Common Core Standards.
- End Drug Prohibition
If elected, I will sponsor and work tirelessly to pass legislation to immediately end the insane War on Drugs; pardon, release from prison, and expunge the records of all non-violent drug 'offenders', end arrests and SWAT raids on suspected drug 'offenders,' abolish the federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and cut taxes by the amount saved.
